TZ Audio Products Stellar X2 large-diaphragm condenser microphone, designed for professional and home studio recording. The Stellar X2 is known for its detailed, relatively neutral sound and is suitable for a wide variety of recording applications including vocals, voiceover, podcasting, narration, acoustic guitar, piano, instruments, streaming and studio recording.

The Stellar X2 features a 34mm K67-style gold-sputtered capsule, transformerless FET circuitry and a fixed cardioid polar pattern. It is designed to provide a clean, detailed recording while maintaining a relatively smooth tonal character.

Important Testing / Power Information

This is a 48V phantom-powered condenser microphone. It does not operate like a USB microphone and cannot simply be plugged directly into a computer.

To operate/test it, you’ll need:

Stellar X2 → XLR cable → audio interface/mic preamp → 48V Phantom Power

The manufacturer’s instructions specify using an XLR-to-XLR cable and an audio interface or preamp capable of supplying full 48V phantom power.
